Rumours that Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies to race in Japan,Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies has confirmed that it will participate in the upcoming Japanese MotoGP round at Twin Ring Motegi. A short statement issued this morning the factory Yamaha MotoGP team reads: "Yamaha Factory Racing riders confirmed their participation Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies compete for round 15 in the 2011 MotoGP world championship at Motegi in Japan on October 2.
"Yamaha Factory Racing Team will compete in the Yamaha WGP50th anniversary red and white livery for the fourth time this year at home GP owner Yamaha Motor Co. Ltd. ' Lorenzo was one of the leading opponents of the plants in Japan, from Fukushima nuclear power plant suffered heavy damage in the devastating earthquake that hit the Far East country in March.
